Rare TIPPCO “Phantom” Convertible – Battery Operated Tin Toy Car – 1950s – Made in Germany

 Description:

Offered here is a highly collectible TIPCO “Phantom” convertible tinplate toy car, made in Germany in the late 1950s. This elegant, large-scale model features beautifully lithographed tinwork, a seated driver figure, and a fully detailed dashboard and interior.

This model is battery operated and includes the original opening rear hood to access the battery and motor compartment, a signature feature of premium TIPCO models.

Country of Origin: Made in Germany (marked “TIPCO” on hood)

Year: Circa 1958–1962
