Porte de tabernacle ancienne, probablement d’origine monastique ou d’église catholique, datant du XIXe siècle. 

Réalisée en bois recouvert de velours usé par le temps, cette pièce est magnifiquement décorée de plaques en métal repoussé (probablement en laiton ou en alliage cuivreux), fixées par clous forgés visibles.
Au centre trône un Christ crucifié entouré de motifs floraux et religieux finement travaillés. 
Aux quatre coins figurent des médaillons représentant les Évangélistes (ou des saints), chacun accompagné de leurs symboles iconographiques, ainsi qu’un motif de la Vierge à l’Enfant.

La porte est encadrée de motifs étoilés et de bordures végétales typiques de l’iconographie chrétienne de l’Europe de l’Est ou d’influence byzantine.

État :
Bel état général compte tenu de son âge, patine authentique.
Traces d’usure du velours, légers manques et oxydation sur le métal (voir photos).
Objet solide, à la fois décoratif et historique.
