Een toonbeeld van Nederlands design uit het begin van de 20e eeuw: deze originele Amsterdamse School bijzettafel combineert verfijnde lijnen met krachtige vormen. De sculpturale poten, het zwevende onderblad en de strak afgeronde randen getuigen van het vakmanschap en de esthetiek die zo kenmerkend zijn voor deze stroming.
