George Grosz, né Georg Ehrenfried Groß (26 juillet 1893 – 6 juillet 1959), était un artiste allemand connu notamment pour ses dessins et peintures caricaturaux de la vie berlinoise dans les années 1920. Il fut un membre important des mouvements Dada de Berlin et de la Nouvelle Objectivité durant la République de Weimar.

Il émigra aux États-Unis en 1933 et devint citoyen naturalisé en 1938. Abandonnant le style et les thèmes de ses œuvres antérieures, il exposa régulièrement et enseigna pendant de nombreuses années à l’Art Students League de New York. En 1959, il retourna à Berlin, où il mourut peu de temps après.
