Wall sconce composed of five interlocking fish forming a circular composition, entirely handcrafted by my grandfather, who worked as a traditional blacksmith in the coastal town of Piran from the 1950s to the 1990s. Avoiding welding, he relied solely on classical blacksmithing techniques such as forging, cutting, chiseling, and riveting. Each fish is detailed with hand-cut scales and fins. The design reflects his lifelong inspiration drawn from the sea. His creations often featured marine motifs such as fish, mermaids, and other sea creatures. This piece carries his original maker’s stamp and is a rare example of mid-20th-century coastal artisan ironwork from Slovenia. 

Some minor paint abrasions are present, consistent with its age and authentic use (exhibition piece). The light bulbs are not included.
