Let yourself be seduced by a unique interpretation of the classic Chimay Grande Réserve, refined by maturing in Armagnac barrels. This exclusive edition combines the rich character of the traditional Chimay blue with the warm, deep notes of oak and French brandy.

Flavour profile
This special Trappist unfolds a layered flavour palette:
Nose: Complex and refined, with aromas of dried fruit, wood, vanilla and a subtle alcohol note of Armagnac.

Taste: Full-bodied and elegant. Notes of caramel, raisins, toasted wood and a soft spiciness, perfectly interwoven with the malty base of the Chimay blue.

Finish: Long, warming and harmonious, with a velvety touch of oak and stone fruit.

After primary fermentation, this Trappist is matured for several months in carefully selected Armagnac barriques, which add a noble character and complexity. The refermentation in the bottle ensures a lively yet refined mousse and ageing potential for years.

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.
