Het Sony-model TC-377 is een driekoppig, viersporenstereocassettedeck ontworpen voor serieuze thuisrecorders.

Speciale kenmerken zijn onder meer hoogwaardige ferriet- en ferrietkoppen, schakelaar voor demping van microfoonniveau, schraapfilter dat vervorming van bandmodulatie elimineert, bandspanningsregelaar om wow en flutter te verminderen, automatisch uitschakelmechanisme, bandkeuzeschakelaar voor geluidsarme banden met hoge output, microfoon- en lijnmixing, geluid-op-geluidsopname, echo-opname, schuine kast ontworpen voor bedieningsgemak in horizontale of verticale positie, enz.
