Art Deco Dutch mantle clock

Interesting Art Deco mantle clock from the 1920’s in the so called “Amsterdamse school” . The case is veneered with mahogany and rosewood and has a smart design. The dial has very atrractive deco brass hands and numbers.

The 8-day Junghans movement is in good working order and strikes the hours and half hours on a single gong. With winding key.

Please note that shipment of a mechanical clock can disturb the beat adjustment of the pendulum and the striking. This can result in a none running clock on arrival. It needs some knowledge of clocks to put the clock into beat again.

Dimensions: height 23,5cm, width 34cm and depth 14cm.

The clock can also be collected in Westerbork, The Netherlands.
