Rara ed elegante cassaforte di inizio secolo, della manifattura francese Le Bayard, in ferro sapientemente dipinto a finto legno e bronzo.
Questo tipo di casseforti, veniva decorato a simulare un vero mobile d'epoca, in modo da essere collocato a vista in ambienti eleganti. Nella fattispecie, proviene da un negozio di Belle Arti. 
Le Bayard, attiva dal 1850, fornì casseforti per banche ed amministrazioni in tutta la Francia. Tipico il meccanismo combinato verticale, con serratura di sicurezza a pompa Picardie, e a combinazione.
Categoria di sicurezza: Ania grado B.
L'esterno è a finto legno con filettature ocra/oro, impreziosito da teste di cinghiale in brodo, a coprire le serrature. L'interno è beige con filettature marrone scuro.
L'interno presenta due ripiani e un vano di sicurezza, chiuso con una chiave. 
La cassaforte è perfettamente funzionante e completa di chiavi. Necessita solo di un restauro estetico, come da fotografie.
Misure: altezza 200 cm, larghezza 100 cm, profondità 75 cm.
