La splendida chitarra che descriverò è uno strumento oltre che eccezionale per le sue caratteristiche lo è anche per le condizioni da vetrina. 
Tengo a precisare che le chitarre proposte sono; o nuove, o pari al nuovo, o tenute benissimo.
Inoltre sono state igienizzate, lucidate, testate in ogni sua parte e con muta di corde nuove, il tutto fatto in laboratorio di liuteria. 
La chitarra di cui parlerò di seguito ha solo lievissimi graffi nella parte posteriore del body, e un leggerissimo segno di una eccessiva opera di lucidatura sul ponte. Il tutto evidenziato in foto.      
L’IBANEZ SZ520QM è un modello di chitarra elettrica Solid Body della serie SZ introdotto da Ibanez nel
2003.
E’ caratterizzata da un corpo in mogano con top in acero trapuntato rilegato con manico in mogano
incassato e tastiera in palissandro rilegato a 22 tasti. I componenti includono un ponte fisso
Gibraltar III e due pickup humbucking . I primi modelli avevano pickup Ibanez SZ. Questi sono stati
cambiati nel 2005 per Seymour Duncan che ha progettato i pickup Duncan / Ibanez appositamente
realizzati per la serie.
Nel 2007, SZ520QM ha ottenuto un aggiornamento visivo con nuovi inlay. Questi modelli del 2007
erano disponibili solo nel mercato statunitense.
