British school (XX) - Four composers - 4 oli su tele

I am offering for auction a set of four 20th-century oil paintings on board and one on canvas, featuring famous composers. Two depict Elgar, one depicts Puccini, and one features an unknown composer to me. Three are by artist Newsham, with the other signed Kim Allen.

The paintings measure approximately 30 x 25 cm. The frames measure approximately 39 x 34 cm.

Born in Bermondsey, London, John received an art school education before establishing a successful career as an illustrator. During this period, John pursued his passion for painting, and after exhibiting in London over several years, he turned to painting full-time. Now residing in the Bedfordshire countryside, John is married with two daughters and three grandchildren, who often appear as subjects in his paintings. He has been a regular exhibitor in galleries and exhibitions in the UK and internationally since the 1970s.

We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore, the frame and any glass are a gift to you with zero value, and you are bidding on the artwork only.
