Seltene antike russische Ikone "Hl. Antipas" aus dem 19. Jahrhundert (um 1850) mit zwei Randheiligen. Handgemalt mit Eitemperafarben auf einer Holztafel mit Kreidegrund. Der Hl. Antipas gilt als Schutzpatron der Zahnärzte.

Typische Methode der Ikonenherstellung im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert in Zarenrussland. Das Motiv ist ziemlich selten und sehr beliebt in der orthodoxen Kirche.

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Altgläubiger-Ikone. Die Malerei ist meisterlich und detailliert ausgeführt (siehe Fotos). Perfekt aufeinander abgestimmte Farbkontraste und gelungene Schattierungen. Die Malerei enthält sehr authentische Krakeelen (siehe Fotos).

Minimale partielle Restaurierungen und Korrekturen sind vorhanden (siehe Fotos). Besonders ausdrucksstark und auffällig ist das Gesicht des Heiligen (siehe Fotos). Der Heilige ist beschriftet. Die Beschriftungen sind gut lesbar.

Auf der Rückseite sind zwei Quersponkas angebracht. Stabile und solide Holztafel. Die Ikone befindet sich in einem guten Zustand mit typischen altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren (siehe Fotos).
