Table clock Empire Bronze, Glass - 1850-1900

Beautiful bronze antique French Empire clock with lovely bronze ornaments. The clock features four columns, a richly decorated cornice, and a handsome enamelled dial with Roman numerals. The dial is set in a stunning surround. On the dial you can read the inscription "Alibert à Paris", a Parisian clockmaker from the first half of the 19th century. The clock is supplied with a key and pendulum and is in excellent running condition. The decoration with laurel wreaths, palmettes and classical ornaments is characteristic of the architectural design.
