TOMIX – JR EF81 + Akebono Sleeper Limited Express (Basic Set)

This TOMIX N-scale model set recreates the iconic JR EF81 electric locomotive coupled with the “Akebono” sleeper limited express cars. The Akebono was a popular overnight train service that connected Ueno Station in Tokyo with Aomori in northern Japan, offering a nostalgic experience of Japan’s classic sleeper train era.

The EF81 locomotive included in this set is designed to haul the passenger coaches through both electrified AC and DC sections, making it a versatile and realistic addition to any layout.
