Enkele voorwerpen voor de goudhandel bij de Ashanti. Het goud dat werd verhandeld was vooral stofgoud.
1. Figuratief goudgewicht (afmeting 3,5 x 4 x 4,5 cm) met de afbeelding van een vogel, meestal de illustratie van een spreekwoord.
Afkomstig uit befaamde collectie (zie foto: tweede rij bovenaan midden.
2. Lepeltje voor stofgoud. H. 8 cm. zeer oude gebruikspatina (messing)
3. Vlinderweegschaal : doorsnee van de schaaltjes 8 cm
4. schepje voor stofgoud, deze vorm diende ook om het stofgoud te scheiden van onreine stof door te blazen tegen de hoge rand, het goud is zwaarder en blijft liggen. Fijne gravering. Messing. 11 cm.
