“Light & Shadow (1982)”, a collection of works by Daido Moriyama, a Japanese photographer representing the 20th century. Needless to say, one of the major works of Moriyama from early to mid-term, masterpieces alongside “Nippon Theater Photo” and “Goodbye to Photography”. Since `` Goodbye to Photography '', which rejected the existing concept of photography, denied realism, and made a farewell declaration to the conventional photographic act itself, I was stuck with the idea of what photography is and the act of copying Daido Moriyama has lost his balance of actions and can no longer take pictures. At that time, I was reminded by the “landscape photography” taken by Niepps, a pioneer in photographic technology, and I did not stick to the style of expressing my own thoughts. This light “Shadow and Shadow” led to the origin return that it was necessary to obscure the shadow product.
