A collection of three books detailing several floodings in the Netherlands at the end of he 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. Contains the following titles:

1. Cornelis Zillesen - Beschryving van den Watersnood, van 't jaar MDCCXCIX (1799). In verschillende gedeelten van ons Vaderland door verstoppingen veroorzaakt - Amsterdam, Johannes Allart, 1800. 1st ed. - Contemporary half-leather binding with letter piece on the spine. With 6 foldable plates and a foldable table. (22), 364, (3).

Condition: Fair. Binding slightly worn. Spine damaged. Hinges splitting. Unfortunately, the foldable map of the river is missing. Otherwise in good condition.

2. J. van Leeuwen - Geschiedkundig tafereel van den watervloed en de overstroomingen in de provincie Vriesland; voorgevallen in sprokkelmaand MDCCCXXV (1825) - Leeuwarden, G.T.N. Suringar, 1826. 1st ed. - Modern linnen binding with lettering and decorations on the spine. With an engraved frontispice. With 2 foldable tables. (112), 290, (17).

Condition: Good. Binding slightly stained. Foxing as usual. Unfortunately, the foldable map and foldable plates are missing.

3. (Nicolaas Swart) - Historisch tafereel van den zwaren watersnood, op den 3den, 4den en 5den Februarij 1825, een groot deel van ons vaderland hebbende getroffen - Amsterdam, Schalekamp en van de Grampel, 1826. 1st ed. - Later boards. With 2 engraved foldable views of rivers, 1 foldable plate, 1 full page engraved map and 1 table. (40), 411.

Condition: Fair. Binding slightly worn. Spine worn. Occasionally slightly water-stained. Foxing as usual. Unfortunately, 2 of the foldable plates are missing.
