The Spin Doctor is a smart pedal: you can connect it directly to your stage amplifier for the best distortion pedal on the planet, enhance the amplifier's sound with four custom overdrive channels (each with its own gain, bass, mid, treble, and presence adjustments), bypass the Spin Doctor to get the original sound of your amplifier, and you can also use the Spin Doctor as a preamplifier (connecting it directly to a power amplifier through the output jack). In the studio, you can use the speaker-simulator output to connect to the mixer or a converter to connect to the computer. The Spin Doctor also has an intuitive MIDI implementation that allows you to create and store additional channels via an external MIDI unit.
