Beautiful vintage French oil lamp. The lamp has a brass base/frame and a green metal shade, decorated with golden floral motifs. The shade is height adjustable.
The lamp is 55cm tall. The base has a diameter of 16cm. The shade has a diameter of 33cm at the bottom and 24cm at the top. The lamp features three E14 fittings in beige candle sockets. It has a cord with an on/off switch. The weight is approximately 2600 grams.
The lamp is in good, but used condition and shows typical signs of wear and tear. The green paint on the lampshade is cracked. The shade itself doesn't seem perfectly straight anymore, but this is hardly noticeable.

About the bouillotte lamp: this lamp, originally equipped with candles, was used during the card game bouillotte. The lamp was placed in the center of a round gaming table and was the main light source for the players. The adjustable metal cap could be lowered to better focus the light from the flickering flames.
