Charmante pendulette d’officier en laiton doré et face vitrée dans son écrin en cuir  du XIXe siècle.

Élégante pendulette d’officier caractéristique du XIXe Le cadran émaillé blanc indique les heures en chiffres romains et un cadran en partie basse indique l'heure du reveil. Lorsqu’on la sort de son écrin, ses face vitrées a pans coupés laissent apparaître la complexité du mécanisme, témoignant de l’ingéniosité des horlogers du XIXe siècle, véritables acteurs de la modernité. Le timbre se trouve en dessous de la pendulette et une poignée de transport permet de la manipuler facilement, elle est fournit avec sa clef. Elle fonctionne parfaitement et pourra être utilisé au quotidien. 

On raconte que ce serait Napoléon Bonaparte, lassé de constater les retards de ses officiers sur le champs de bataille, qui eut l’idée de créer une pendule petite, portative et fiable, pour permettre à ses soldats d'être à l’heure. Ces pendules sont de véritables chef d’œuvres techniques de la tradition horlogère.
