Boîte à reliquaire en argent gravé, fin XVIIIe siècle debut XIX e - France

Élégante boîte ovale en argent ouvrante à charnière, probablement destinée à contenir une relique, un Agnus Dei ou un petit objet de dévotion.
Le couvercle est décoré d’une gravure religieuse finement exécutée : le monogramme IHS surmonté d’une croix rayonnante et accompagné des trois clous de la Passion. Un encadrement ondulé souligne la composition.

L’intérieur est entièrement doré (vermeil), typique des boîtes religieuses servant à protéger et mettre en valeur un contenu sacré.

Bel état général , petite déformation au niveau de la fermeture, mais charnière fonctionnelle et décor bien lisible.
