Caratteristiche principali

La FX-3 è stata introdotta nel 1979 come modello entry-level per Yashica. 

Monta l’attacco Contax/Yashica (C/Y), che permette di usare obiettivi Yashica ML/DSB e anche molte ottiche Zeiss T* per Contax con quell’attacco. 

È una macchina completamente manuale per quanto riguarda l’esposizione (tempo di posa, diaframma), con esposimetro integrato per misurare la luce. 

Produzione lunga: nonostante sia un modello base, è rimasta in produzione – con varianti – fino al 2002.
