Elegant French gilt bronze bougeoir, 19th century, crafted in the Louis XIV style. The piece is richly decorated with finely chiselled and guilloché details, showcasing the refinement and artistry characteristic of French decorative metalwork of the period.

The original gilding remains in good condition (see photographs for details), retaining much of its warmth and brilliance. Dating from around 1850, this impressive candlestick measures 27.5 x 13 x 13 cm, and displays both decorative appeal and historical charm.

A distinguished example of 19th-century French craftsmanship, this piece would make a striking addition to any collection of fine decorative arts.
