The stencil marking “5180-17-054-8089” corresponds to the NATO Stock Number (NSN) format: “5180” denotes Hand Tools, Nonpowered category, and “17” identifies Germany (Federal Republic of Germany) as the manufacturing country. These details indicate production for Bundeswehr or NATO supply use.

The exterior retains its original matte military paint with visible wear, scratches, and patina consistent with long service use. All hinges and joints operate smoothly, and the structure remains solid. The inscription “JONKERS” adds further authenticity, possibly referring to an issued user or military unit.
