This rare Technics RS-640USD from 1976/1977 is in perfect working condition. The recorded and reproduced cassette sound is of very good quality. Beautifully lit mega VU meters. Very robustly built machine with modern RCA Line in / out and DIN connection. Microphone and Line inputs can be mixed mixed: a versatile recording medium.
A peak check switch (limiter) is provided for extra good recordings at optimal volume. Furthermore, Dolby noise reduction, zero stop, and a unique flashing warning eye to indicate that the end of the cassette is almost reached (approx. 3 minutes before the end of 60 minutes of cassettes and 4 minutes at 90 minutes of cassettes). The recorder is complete with all original documentation, warranty certificate, manual and service manual.
