Michael Anastassiades
Born in Cyprus in 1967, he studied civil engineering and industrial design in London, where he opened his studio in 1994. He has created products, environmental design projects, and experimental works that often transcend the boundaries between different fields of creativity. His practice encompasses both industrial production and artisanal techniques, guided by a poetic yet rigorous interpretation of technology, materials, and functions, with influences from art. He has received numerous awards and recognitions, including a Compasso d’Oro. His works are exhibited in major international museums such as MoMA in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
