Magnificent decorative ceramic vase with metallic lustre, attributed to the workshops of Triana, a historic district of Seville (Andalusia, Spain).
19th-century artisanal piece, representative of Andalusian craftsmanship in iridescent glazes.
Epoch: 19th century (circa 1850–1890)
Origin: Triana, Seville, Spain
Material: high-temperature fired red terracotta.
Technique: metallic luster (iridescent enamel based on copper and silver)
Decor: raised floral and geometric motifs, partially enameled interior.
Height: 42cm
Weight: about 8 kg
• Base: unsigned, raw background with green enamel drips typical of Triana kilns.
Condition: good overall condition, slight chips on the lip and signs of wear consistent with age. Original patina preserved.
