Mécanisme de comtoise orné d’une scène bucolique romantique, à réviser pour remise en fonctionnement complète.

Le fronton de cette pendule est richement décoré de figures en relief représentant une scène champêtre touchante : un jeune couple se tenant tendrement, entouré de personnages jouant de la musique. L’ensemble dégage une atmosphère poétique et paisible, typique de l’iconographie du XIXe siècle.

Le cadran émaillé, signé "Oradour à Pierrefort", est sobrement orné, avec de grandes chiffres romains bien visibles. Il présente des traces d’usure et de chocs. Les aiguilles finement travaillées en métal ajouré reflètent le souci du détail propre à l’horlogerie ancienne.

Le contour du cadran ainsi que le bas de la façade sont agrémentés de motifs floraux et volutes en relief, typiques du style Louis XV ou de l’inspiration néo-classique des comtoises du XIXe siècle.

Cette pendule représente un bel objet de collection, à la fois décoratif et chargé d’histoire. Elle trouvera parfaitement sa place dans un intérieur au style classique, rustique ou romantique.
