Monumental 'Stollenthruhe' '
With a Gothic lock plate.
Beautiful oak with a warm patina.
The broad side stiles still have a medieval character and give this piece a handsome early appearance.
These chests were already made in the Gothic period and are very traditional and continued to be made long into the 17th century.
The hinges and the hinged securing for the lock plate are of a later date.
Furthermore, this piece of furniture is completely original.
