Andrea Imwiehe, Fragments of a garden_15 XL *no reserve*, 2025, acrylic painting on canvas, 80 × 60 cm, colours beige, crème, orange, green and gold, depicting plants and flowers, original edition, signed, in excellent condition, Germany, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Andrea Imwiehe works with a combination of acrylic painting and line drawing, where the lines are drawn directly into the acrylic paint, thus forming a recessed relief.
"Fragments of a Garden" is an abstract acrylic painting that creates depth and tactile quality with a sandy texture. The harmonious composition of light beige tones, orange, gold, and green combines with sketchy lines and delicate flowers to form a multilayered depiction of natural fragments. The mixture of rough, textured surfaces and fine, minimal lines gives the image a poetic, almost nostalgic atmosphere—as if wandering through memories of a garden.
The artwork at a glance:
- from the series 'Fragments of a Garden' – impressions of memory spaces and plants in unique painting
Acrylic painting with thick, textured application - unique surface structure created by sand
Painted on canvas, stretched on a frame, ready to hang immediately.
Signed on the back, numbered, and accompanied by all image information.
Shipping is carried out professionally wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap.
Certificate of authenticity included
Andrea Imwiehe, winner of the art prize of AOK Nordost, Berlin/Brandenburg, and recipient of a scholarship from the Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop, is a graduate of the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig.
