Description from the seller
Because Catawiki has translated the text incorrectly, it often results in nonsense or incorrect word choices.
Cupboard from around 1660.
Also called Utrechtse Toogkast, but there is no difference from Dutch bar cabinets.
Quarter-sawn oak. Due to the sawing direction, the food vessels in the wood become visible.
This creates that beautiful image in the nerve.
Here and there, a lighter type of wood has been used as a contrast.
Also in the corridors. Beautiful Renaissance style.
The arches, the curves above the doors, are inspired by the triumphal arches from classical antiquity.
Beneath the doors, a broad drawer.
Even the sides have that beautiful design with toogen.
Artistic carved lion heads on the cap.
The interior has two original shelves.
The lock is original and the key works.
