Pair of brass candlesticks – hand-cast – circa 1720
A few early brass candelabras, probably made in England around 1720. These pieces stand out for their artisanal character and early casting technique, typical of the transition from 17th-century to early 18th-century table and interior silverware.

Origin: England
Material: brass
Design: organically shaped, gently undulating base; simple baluster stem; small, slightly upward-curved candle plate.
Finish: irregular underside with a cast-core opening; not turned on a lathe afterward – typical of early artisanal production
with signs of wear appropriate for age.
No restorations; beautifully patinated surface.
