Description from the seller
Vintage Liberty Bell slot machine with a side lever from the 1980s. The first slot machine, the "Liberty Bell", was invented by Charles Fey in San Francisco in 1895. These early machines were mechanical and had three reels with symbols such as bells, horseshoes, and playing-card suits. It also earned the nickname "One-Armed Bandit" (bandit with one arm), derived from the side lever (the "arm") that the player pulled to spin the reels, and from the tendency of these machines to "empty" players' pockets, acting as a bandit. Over the course of the 20th century, slot machines evolved, moving from purely mechanical mechanisms to electromechanical systems and, subsequently, to fully electronic and digital ones that we find in casinos and online today. The version shown in the image reproduces the basic mechanism: you insert a coin, pull the lever, and the reels spin. If the symbols line up in a winning combination (for example, three "BAR" symbols or the "JACKPOT"), the machine dispenses the coins previously inserted, acting as a piggy bank. Functional, but not tested. The photos are an integral part of the description. Shipping costs include careful packaging and tracking, ensuring fast delivery times.
