Description from the seller
The Work
"Nuclear Cleaning" single edition (Artist Proof)
Dimensions: 22x27cm
Support: Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl 285 g/m²
Technique: Printing
Marco observed in the photos is not included.
Work sent very well packed.
The artwork is brighter in person; with the camera, it's difficult to capture the true nature of the colors.
Print made from the original painting: 'Nuclear Cleaning' 130x97cm (see the last two photos).
This is a one-of-a-kind print of this piece. I have made only three prints in the Hahnemühle paper series, giving each a unique touch, as they are printed on different papers.
Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl 285 g/m²
Brilliant finish: The baryta surface provides a striking shine, deep blacks and vibrant colors, ideal for artistic photography or detailed illustrations.
Exceptional detail and depth: Its high-grammage texture allows for outstanding sharpness and smooth tonal transitions, achieving a stunning visual effect.
Archival quality longevity: With its 285 g/m², this paper is not only robust but also designed to resist the passage of time, preserving the intensity of the work for generations.
With the trust of professionals: preferred by artists and galleries worldwide for its unmatched quality and elegant finish.
In case of any doubt, consult.
About the Artist
Frank Arias is an artist obsessed with the pop world, fashion, philosophy and human sensuality.
If you have the opportunity to acquire one of his works, you'll notice the exquisite finish and brilliant colors. He works extensively with chance and scenes unlikely to be found in reality, always with a touch of irony and occasionally satirizing.
Born in Cuba, he studied at the Professional School of Art of Matanzas, Cuba (2009-2013).
He finds his references and sources of inspiration in artists such as Warhol, Salvador Dalí, John Currin, Tom Wesselman, Gustav Klimt, Moebius, as well as the great names of Cuban art: Tomás Sánchez and Roberto Fabelo.
An important note from the author
I feel the need to share that each of my works is born from my imagination and the ideas I want to convey to the world. The entire process—from the initial sketches to the final piece—is completely handmade, using ink, paint, paper, time, and patience. I come from an academic background, and although today there are tools like artificial intelligence capable of imitating artistic creation, I enjoy the manual process: I am passionate about building my work and watching it grow day by day.
Therefore, I invite you to consider that you are acquiring a piece that combines the modernity of professional printing with the essence of academic and traditional art. I do not reject AI — I know it is a powerful tool — but I needed to make clear the human and artisanal value behind this work. Thank you for considering it.
