2 volumes in sheets; 75 pages of text and facsimile: 25 pages and 12 plates. - One of the reprints of this famous erotic text attributed to Musset, possibly in collaboration with George Sand according to André de Sermanmagny [i.e., André Warnod], the preface writer of this edition. The facsimile reproduces the very rare original, with the text in 2 columns, page 23 numbered 25, and the 12 color plates (complete) beautifully redrawn in lithography based on the original lithographs (6 with captions and 6 without), of which 10 are attributed to Devéria and 2 to Grévedon. Print run of 360 copies, including 10 hors commerce on Montgolfier paper (no. 215).
Each part covered with illustrated brown paper, in black (reproduction of the original covers titled 'Gamiani or One [- Two] Nights of Excess'). Under a common blue paper dust jacket, titled in black. Under the dust jacket and slipcase (untitled) of edition. (damaged).
