A late eighteenth century neoclassical cabinet in walnut and oak with original locks and a generous interior, a refined Directoire transitional piece for authentic period spaces.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful and elegant cabinet.
Exceptionally well executed.
High-quality furniture craftsmanship.
The style is the Directoire — a transitional period from Louis XVI to Empire, around 1790.
Single curved, the lower case has only a convex curve outward.
Beautifully crafted legs at the corners – see detail photos.
Beautiful inlay work on the doors — above a crossed torch and a bundle of arrows, here all the martial ornamentation in the Empire style is displayed.
Napoleon takes shape and the later wars.

The gable has an open pediment - borrowed from classical antiquity.
In the opening and artistically carved urn.

Beautiful and extensive interior with many drawers.
Three drawers inside have a special lining for silverware.
The drawers are all nicely upholstered and still look like new, so I'll leave them as they are.
The buyer will definitely appreciate this. And if not, you can simply remove it.
See also the special hardware, large round pulls made of cast brass - 10 cm diameter.
All the drawers are running smoothly.
All locks have the original keys and locks that work well.
No visible restorations.
