This extraordinary Rebellion WEAP-ONE Diamond timepiece pushes the boundaries of haute horlogerie with a design and engineering concept unlike any other wristwatch. Built as a true work of mechanical art, the WEAP-ONE Diamond features an asymmetrical 60-second flying tourbillon with a cage crafted from diamond, a world-first innovation originally developed for aerospace applications.
Powering this exceptional wristwatch is a manual-winding movement developed in collaboration with Concepto and designed by Fabrice Gonet and Olivier Leu, composed of 529 components, 67 jewels, and offering approximately 50 hours of power reserve. The flying tourbillon assembly is mounted between rotating plates that vary in speed, resulting in multi-axis movement and optimized resistance to gravitational effects.
The watch is housed in a slender, cylinder-shaped case constructed from titanium and sapphire crystal, offering unobstructed panoramic views of the complex movement from all angles. Two sapphire “wheel-nut” crowns seal either end of the case — one for winding and the other for setting the time — while polished sapphire crystal rollers display the hours on the left and minutes on the right.
