■Description

The KATO N-Gauge “EF65 1000” reproduces the EF65 1000 series, a locomotive widely known for hauling Japan’s iconic Blue Train sleeper services. Designed for high-speed passenger operations, the EF65 1000 series served as the motive power for famous limited express sleepers such as “Fuji” and “Hayabusa.” This model accurately captures the locomotive’s characteristic front-end design, rooftop equipment, and detailed bodywork, making it ideal for recreating JNR-era passenger consists.
