Art Deco mantel clock by Pierre Sega, circa the 1920s–1930s, in marble and onyx with a bronze patina sculpture, mechanical movement, 8-day power reserve and half-hour striking, dimensions 33.02 × 40.64 × 19.05 cm.

Art Deco Fireplace Clock "Ninfa e Pan" - Pierre Sega - Marble and Onyx - 1920s/1930s
Refined and rare Art Deco-style fireplace clock (circa 1920–1930), the work of the well-known French sculptor Pierre Sega.
The sculptural composition, titled "Ninfa e Pan" (Nymph and Pan), features a metal group (antimony) with a beautiful bronzed patina: it depicts a young dancer extended toward a faun seated and playing Pan's flute.
The sumptuous central ogival structure is made of gray marble and precious onyx, and houses a golden diamond-shaped dial with the period’s characteristic stylized numerals.
All resting on a solid two-tone geometric base.
Technical details and condition:

Original French-made mechanical movement, stamped on the back with the inscription "MADE IN FRANCE" and serial number 76579.
Period: 1920s / 1930s (Art Deco).
Excellent general conservation conditions. The marble shows a small chip in one corner, see photo.
The bronze patina of the sculptures is well preserved and uniform.
Mechanical condition: [Please specify: 'Movement functioning, without key and probably needs inspection.']
Splendid collectible piece, perfect for enriching modern or classical interiors with a touch of authentic vintage design.
There are normal signs of age; it should be thoroughly cleaned.
