Renata Giannelli presents DUE MELE, a unique sculpture in raised iron wire and cotton paper pulp with collage and 14 kt gold leaf, featuring two apples, 60 cm wide, 30 cm high, 30 cm deep, weighing 3 kg, hand-signed, dated 2025 as a Pezzo Unico from Italy with an authenticity certificate.
Description from the seller
Unique work made of iron wire, cotton paper pulp, collage, and gold leaf, with 120 LED light points inside each apple. It occupies a space of 60 cm in length and has a diameter of approximately 30 cm.
The sculpture depicts two apples, modeled with cooked iron wire that outlines their essential contours. The lightweight structure acts as a transparent skeleton, inside which the pulp of cotton paper, textured and irregular, covers some surfaces, creating a delicate play of solids and voids. The piece is illuminated from within: the light filters through the paper, spreading in a soft and warm manner, while the iron traces remain backlit, drawing a graphic pattern in the air. The result is a poetic and highly decorative object that emits a warm, enveloping light into the environment.
The piece is delivered in the appropriate packaging, in sewn and printed jute bags, and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The packaging is in a rigid cardboard box.
