This is a wooden carved seated Shakyamuni Buddha statue.
There is an inscription carved into the base, but it is impossible to read, so the details are unknown.
It is thought to date to the early Showa period.
The statue is carefully crafted overall and has a strong presence.
You can see that attention has been paid to every detail, from the facial expression, head, and posture.
There is a crack running from the right hand to the right foot and stand.

Shakyamuni Buddha and Shaka Nyorai are both words referring to Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism, and there is no essential difference between them.

The standed statue of Shakanyorai Buddha represents Shakanyorai Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Shakyamuni Buddha is typically portrayed with a serene and meditative expression, symbolizing the moment when he attained enlightenment.
