The first edition of the Chamonix manifesto was created by Abel Faivre in 1905 and printed by J.Barreau, Paris.
The poster illustrates the advertising activity of the Chemins de Fer PLM Paris-Lyon-Mediterranée railway linked to Chamonix, the well-known French ski resort.
