Pages with printed and filled covers, slipcase, and box.

Illustrated work with 20 drypoints by Paul-Émile Bécat, including the frontispiece, 3 portraits, 12 in-text illustrations, and 4 outside-text illustrations.

One of the 16 numbered copies on pure Rives paper containing an original signed drawing (from in-text p.65 - 13.5cm x 12.5cm), an inked copperplate (from in-text p.57), and a suite with notes on Japan, enriched with an unpublished free engraving with notes on Japan, and a 12-page specimen of the work.

Lined and rubbed case, three tears of the cover, each 2cm long, in very good condition otherwise, pages and additions are quite fresh, a fine copy.
