Rare original edition of this collection of 65/76 drawings of nudes (sometimes very raw) by the writer and illustrator André Rouveyre (1879-1962). (missing plates 21, 25, 37, 49, 57, 58, 60, 63, 69, 71, and 75)
Rémy de Gourmont's gloss has been entirely drawn and wood-engraved by P. E. Vibert. (text in Spanish)
In order to preserve the original character of this work, Rouveyre completely destroyed his drawings, and all the engraved text was burned after printing.
Paperback, with folded cover, spine and front cover titled in black and red. - Cover faded, minor paper loss at the head and tail of the spine. Interior fresh and clean. Untrimmed
