AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Superb and imposing Art Deco period desk lamp / piano lamp from France circa 1925-1930.
Classic Art Deco style with a very beautiful glass paste tulip inspired by late Art Nouveau.

Features :
- Total height: 50 cm
- Width (arm extended): 30 cm
- Diameter of the tulip lampshade: 14 cm
- Weight: 3.5 kg (very massive bronze and brass mount)
Yellow straw marbled pâte de verre tulip, fading towards blue at the base (typical hammered texture).
Black/bronze patinated bronze mount with an articulated arm adjustable in height and orientation.
Heavy round base, bakelite olive switch
- Wiring completely renewed (new connectors, black fabric braided cable, modern European socket – compliant with current safety standards)

Very good condition
Without any chips, no cracks, just a few barely visible superficial micro-scratches.
→ Bronze with its beautiful original patina, slight traces of natural oxidation (no aggressive cleaning).
Everything is stable and functional.
No visible brand (very common on these mass-produced models at the time)

A lamp with a very beautiful presence, perfect for a writer's desk, a secretary, or a grand piano. The 50 cm size is significantly rarer than the smaller 35-40 cm versions.

Ultra-careful shipping (disassembled tulip and protected separately) – hand delivery possible in Belgium.
