6 early XXth Century damask linen napkins with hand embroidered initials L.B. - Napkin - 65 cm - 77 cm

6 excellent damask linen napkins
hand embroidered and hand hemmed with
L.B. initials. They are very well embroidered.
What makes hand embroidery always more plausible is that
none of the napkins are identical and it makes them more
individual.
It is easy to find out whether they are hand embroidered
by reversing the napkin and you will note loose hanging threads.
The damask is perfect and shows the classic design which is so
French.
Almost always roses in one way or the other.
The 4 corners have compositions with single open roses
and the always so popular anemones and loved by the french in
the early XXth Century.
The initials are sitting in a oval wreath with compositions of anemones
and oak leaves.
