Beautiful and unique solid gold bronze sculpture depicting a little young girl sitting with ears of wheat on her knees.
This sculpture dates from the end of the 19th century; it is a high-quality work of the French school. Realism, finesse, and delicacy.
The young girl is dressed in a dress and wears clogs. She has a scarf and a rose in her hair, as well as a bundle of wheat stalks on her knees and a sickle in her right hand.
She is sitting on a custom-made mahogany wooden pedestal that perfectly fits the shape of the bronze. It is a unique work.
Good condition. Time has done its work.
