First and only edition, limited, numbered, and bound in fine leather with a case, of the essential and renowned book:
Type samples in 18th-century typography
Choice, introduction, and notes by Jeanne Veyrin-Forrer.

Printed for the art publisher Il Polifilo.
It contains dozens of facsimiles of sample books and typographic illustrations from the 18th century, offering a study on how characters were presented, cataloged, and used at the time.
In prestigious handcrafted binding in half leather, with leather corners, with marbled motifs on the covers, titles on a label, and gold embellishments on the spine with ribs, and a marbled rigid box. The front and back of the original cover are correctly preserved at the end of the book.
In 4° (34x26.5 cm).
187 pages, 48 plates, some folded.
Special edition of 2000 copies numbered out of trade, our copy number 1840. On specially manufactured ivory paper, with large uncut margins.
In excellent internal condition, practically as new, fresh, perfect, intact, very clean, and solid. Binding shows minimal signs of wear, the case has some more noticeable signs of wear and a partial tear on the top part.
