Benoît Guérin presents A pas de géant in acrylic on canvas, 60 by 60 cm, signed by hand and ready to hang, offering bold red composition and a modern abstract so the piece stands out for bidding.
Description from the seller
Work of art sent on a frame.
Work created with acrylic, spray, Chinese ink, and a smooth and notched knife.
The geometry of the composition and the red and green colors add a lot of rhythm to this canvas.
One can see it as an unhinged giant.
Acrylic, Chinese ink on canvas
Finishing: Work on a frame. Ready to be hung.
Artist Biography
Benoît Guérin is engaged in a resolutely abstract approach, where colors and materials meet in an instinctive and spontaneous surge.
Primarily working with acrylic, they sometimes combine inks and walnut stain, mixing colors directly on the canvas. Working on the ground, they physically immerse themselves in the creation, where each gesture – scraping, crushing, splattering – gives rise to vibrant, textured works.
Black, omnipresent in his compositions, shapes light and reveals striking contrasts. Rooted in abstraction, his landscapes also offer a transformed vision of reality. Colors either blend or clash to create new sensations.
His art, in constant evolution, reflects a quest for balance between instinct and reflection, always driven by the desire to renew oneself.
His workshop is located in Vouillé, in the Deux-Sèvres.
