Description from the seller

Amandyne describes her artistic process as the “deconstruction of human beings and matter,” in search of a sensuous and sensory expression. She reinvents and transforms matter to awaken the inner strength, “the pure energy of each of her models,” in order to reveal the divine incarnate in each of us.

“I want above all my paintings to vibrate with my passion for bodies, their mysteries, and the wild life that moves them. Thus, I give flesh to my sensations.”
The use of dripping technique is at the heart of her creative process. The primary reasons are spontaneity and energy: it gives real dynamism to the work. By letting drips and splashes land on the canvas in an arbitrary way, she manages to capture—in this instant movement—the joy and sensuality of the subject. Freeing herself from constraints and total control allows her to let emotions and her mindset of the moment prevail. Dripping also enables her to create on the canvas unique patterns and textures, giving her works an unpredictable dimension that reflects the beauty of the body.
Through the effect of successive layers of paint that overlap and intertwine, the dripping technique creates visual richness and fascinating depth.

The work is sold with a certificate of authenticity and proof of appraisal.

“The Enlace Shibari”
Linen canvas mounted on stretcher
In The Enlacement Shibari, the artist overturns the codes of an aesthetic often associated with femininity to explore masculine vulnerability. The subject, a man partially bound, embodies a paradox: constraint becomes a language of inner strength, letting go, and contained beauty.
The golden cords, meticulously integrated with the material, stand out against a textured background of raw whiteness. They symbolize both imprisonment and connection— a sacred link between body and mind, between pain and surrender. Sparks of red and black punctuate the composition, evoking tension, passion, and the emotional scar of the gesture.
The artist transcends mere physical representation to reach a spiritual dimension: a place where the body becomes a field for expressing human fragility, sublimated eroticism, and the quest for balance between domination and freedom.
This work, powerful and introspective, invites the viewer to look beyond appearances and question their own perception of desire, control, and the beauty of letting go.

This work, both sensuous and spiritual, upends conventions. It provokes, unsettles, and fascinates. A piece that leaves no one indifferent — a strong, magnetic presence that draws the eye and asserts itself in every contemporary collection.
